Jacksonville Public Library and Duval County Public Schools present the Best of Middle School Art Exhibit, opening to the public on Saturday, April 22.
The exhibit, on display in the Main Library's first-floor gallery, includes a juried selection of student artwork from twelve local schools. There are also dozens of pieces being displayed digitally on screens near the entrance to the Teen Room.
Student artists represented in this exhibit received either a Work of Excellence, Work of Merit or Work of Honorable Mention certificate.
A reception will be held for student artists and their families on Saturday, May 6 at 3:30 p.m. with light refreshments. Main Library is also open for Art Walk on Wednesday, May 3 until 9 pm.
The Best of Middle School Art Exhibit runs from April 22 through May 13.
