Summer and reading just go together! But now, so do HOT deals on literal bags full of books!
The Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library's semi-annual Big Bag Book Sale returns July 18-20 with fantastic deals on books, movies, audiobooks, records, jigsaw puzzles, and more. Not only can you fill a paper bag full of books for just $15 (already a great deal), but you can also get free bags of books, too! That's a lot of books (for not a lot of money)!
The bookstore is located at the University Park Branch Library at 3435 University Blvd. N.
Become a member!
FJPL members get BOGO on any store item all year long and first access and special pricing during the Big Bag Sale. If you want to become a member, you can purchase your membership at the door for $20; it is good through December 31, 2024. Proceeds from the memberships and book sales support and enhance programs and services at Jacksonville Public Library.

Members Only Night!

Fill one paper bag full of books for $12 and fill another bag for FREE. Bags will be provided by the Friends.
Friday, July 19, 4 - 8 p.m. and Saturday, July 20, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Members: Fill one bag of books for $15 and get one FREE.

Non-members: Fill two paper bags for $15 each and get your third bag FREE.

Note: Bags will be provided by the Friends.
Can't make the sale? You can still support the Friends and the Library by donating your gently-loved books, DVDs, CDs, and jigsaw puzzles. Donations totaling less than three boxes can be dropped off at any branch. If you have more than three boxes, please take them directly to the FJPL bookstore located at 3435 University Blvd N.
