Join a Book Club

#Resolve to Read

The new year brings with it new releases, new challenges, fresh starts, and an all-new Library Book Club! Novel Pursuits meets on the third Saturday of the month at San Marco Branch Library. Where will our fiction collection take you? You'll have to join the club to find out!

Book clubs are also one of the best ways to find out what other people are reading (and what they think about the books everyone else is reading). What do you say? Join us at your favorite library and let's talk books!

Never miss out! Get book club emails, program reminders and more!

#Adult Reading Challenge

We've got a fresh new set of 16 Jax Stacks Reading Challenge categories coming at you for 2024! While many of the categories are designed to broaden your reading horizons and get you to try something new, others are going to match up with books you're probably planning to read anyway. Either way, you'll have fun and read some great books! To make it easy, we've printed up Jax Stacks Bookmarks to help you keep track of the categories you've crossed off. Pick one up at your local library.

Get monthly Jax Stacks book recommendations to fulfill your chosen categories on our blog or by email or by requesting a personalized booklist.

#Jax Stacks Virtual Book Club

We will discuss: "A book by a 2024 Lit Chat author" and "A book with an eye-catching cover" on Tuesday, January 2 at 6:30 p.m., live on Zoom. Note: No specific book is required to be read for this book club but it is a way for you to get (and give) extra book recommendations! Come talk about the books you're reading; it might just help another reader!
