#Find a Great Read
If your New Year's resolution is to read more or you are aiming to complete our Jax Stacks 2024 Reading Challenge, visit the Friends of the Mandarin Library's used book sale on January 26 and 27 to find your next favorite author. Both days of the sale are open to all, but membership is encouraged and appreciated. You can join at the door for $10. Proceeds from sales and memberships are used to enhance programs and services at the Mandarin Library.
The sale will include gently used adult fiction, nonfiction, children and young adult titles, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, and more.
Location, Dates, and Hours:
- 3330 Kori Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32257
- Friday, January 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, January 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Book Sale Details:
- $10 to fill a paper grocery bag. The Friends will provide the bags.
- $5 or less per individual item
- Cash only
Other Ways to Show Support
Can't make the sale? You can still support the Friends and the Library by donating your gently-loved books, DVDs, CDs, and jigsaw puzzles. Donations totaling less than 3 boxes can be dropped off at any branch. If you have more than 3 boxes, please take them directly to the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library bookstore located at 3435 University Blvd N.
